Introducing
PAN FaxMail
*featuring*
FAX FORWARDING
If you already have a FAX machine, use FaxMail to have your faxes
forwarded to you when you are out of town or away from the
office. The people sending to you will never have to track you
down --- they just FAX to your usual number, and you can pick up
your messages from any location worldwide, 24 hours a day.
SURROGATE FAX
If you do NOT have a FAX, no problem. We'll assign you a phone
number that you can give out as YOUR PERSONAL FAX LINE. When a
message comes in for you, the system will call you (or beep your
pager), and you can pick up your FAX at the location of your
choice... a friend's office, a hotel, a print shop, a shopping
mall. Or, if you have a computer and a modem, you can download
the FAX to your PC, display it on your screen, and print it out
on an ordinary line printer. At your option, FAXes can also be
converted to "ascii" text and automatically forwarded for
delivery to other Email systems, such as MCI and CompuServe.
MARKETING TOOLS
A special feature of PAN FaxMail is the ability to store a
document on the system which people can call up and have
delivered to their FAX machine by simply dialing into your PAN
FaxBox. You can change the document as often as you wish, so
that you can use it as a daily newsletter, a bulletin board,
product information, surveys and questionnaires, and anything
else you would want people to have sent to them. And at the end
of each month, you get a list of all the phone numbers fax'ed to
for follow-up purposes and marketing research.
FAX BBS SERVICES (Public or Private)
Just as a FaxBox can be setup as a dedicated information
retrieval device, it can also be made to be INTERACTIVE. People
subscribing to a FAX BBS receive copies of all incoming
transmissions as they arrive, so that your FAX machine is
literally transformed into a "newswire" terminal.
DATABASE RETRIEVAL
Another special feature of PAN FaxMail is the capability of the
system to link a relational database to a menu of audio prompts,
so that people can dial in, search a database, and have the
results of their search transmitted to their FAX machine. In
computer terms, it's as though your telephone's touch-tone keys
are the computer keyboard, and your FAX machine is your video
screen.
PRIVACY ASSURED
PAN FaxMail is a totally digital service. There is no operator
intervention at any point along the way, so that your complete
privacy and security is assured. Accounts are also password
protected, so that only you and you alone will have access to
your FaxBox.
